Scope
This notice applies where the GDPR or UK GDPR is applicable to SalesOps' processing of personal data about you.
Controller and roles
SalesOps is a controller for information collected directly — account, billing, marketing website, and support communications. Where SalesOps processes personal data on behalf of a customer inside their workspace, SalesOps acts as a processor and the customer is the controller. See our Data Processing Addendum.
Legal bases
Depending on the context, SalesOps relies on one or more of:
- Contract — to provide and administer the platform.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and support the platform, and for direct B2B communications where appropriate.
- Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, and legal requirements.
- Consent — where required, for example for non-essential cookies and certain marketing communications.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, SalesOps relies on lawful transfer mechanisms including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (2021) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.
Residency
The primary SalesOps database region is Germany. Approved subprocessors may process information in other regions as disclosed at /legal/subprocessors.
Your GDPR rights
You have rights to:
- Access your personal data.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure, subject to legal exceptions.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing.
Submit requests to info@salesops.ca. If your data sits inside a customer's workspace, we will route your request to that customer.
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — for example, the CNIL in France, the ICO in the United Kingdom, the Datenschutz authorities in Germany, or your Member State supervisory authority.
Representative and Data Protection Officer
SalesOps has not currently appointed an Article 27 EU or UK Representative. If your organization requires a designated representative as a condition of processing, please contact info@salesops.ca. SalesOps has not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer; privacy inquiries are handled by our compliance contact.
